How can we help?

Practical guides for your shop, WebShop and till.

Choose a ShopTill-e report

Start with the question you need to answer, then choose a report with the right scope. Keep its filters with any exported figures so the result can be reproduced.

Reports and dashboards

Compare like with like

Check the time period, channel, location, status and row type. An order total, a product-line value, a payment record and a current stock quantity are different measures. Review the report’s own scope and supporting records before interpreting a difference.

When a result is empty

Check the dates and filters first. An empty filtered result does not prove that the underlying record does not exist. Use a known order, product or customer reference as a test case.

Keep an export checklist

  1. Record the report name, start/end times and location or Object.
  2. Record channel, status, payment and any product/category or customer scope.
  3. Check whether the download uses all matching records, selected preview orders, or currently loaded rows.
  4. Check the chosen columns and open the downloaded file to inspect representative references.
  5. Keep the filters with the file so another person can reproduce the result.

Display options can improve readability, but they do not substitute for the report filters. A completed download does not establish that its totals reconcile to another report or a payment provider.

Make report screens easier to read

Where Display is offered, open it to choose Compact or Comfortable spacing and Larger text. Choices apply immediately and are remembered for the current shop/user in that browser when storage is available. Review the report's own period, channel and other filters separately.

See Adjust spacing and text size in Builder for the Display controls and what to check when another browser looks different.
