Review and export transaction records

The Transaction Report lists order and payment-related information across the selected scope. Choose filters before exporting so you know which records the CSV represents.

Find the intended records

  1. Open Reports → Transaction Report.
  2. Review the location selector and Channel.
  3. Choose the intended Order status and Payment method.
  4. Choose Date range: the current options include Today, Since yesterday, This week, Last 7 days, This month, Last 30 days and Custom date range.
  5. Review Sort by, then compare the displayed records with the intended scope.
  6. Select Download CSV when ready and check the file against the same filters.

Read the columns separately

The table distinguishes Goods, Tax, Shipping and Total, plus Payment status, Method and Order status. A payment-method label and an order fulfilment status describe different aspects of the record.

Example: no transactions today

Check the selected date period before interpreting an empty list; use Today when that is the period you need. An empty result for that period does not establish that your store has no order history. Widen Date range and review other filters before investigating a missing historical sale.

Check the underlying outcome

Use the order reference and payment evidence when investigating a disputed or interrupted payment. Do not repeat a payment merely because a filtered report is empty or its method label is unexpected.

Check the loaded export rows

This Transaction Report download is built from the rows currently loaded in the list. Check the visible scope and other result pages; do not assume Download CSV includes every match across a long period. Estimate rows are excluded from this export.

For a whole filtered period or selected order lines, review Sales Order Detail Report and its different selection rules. Inspect the downloaded file’s references, dates, amounts and currency before combining exports from different pages.

If an export seems incomplete

  1. Compare the displayed filters with the period, channel and status you intended. Check other result pages before concluding an order is absent.
  2. Compare representative order references in the CSV with the loaded rows. This download uses the loaded list; it is not a guarantee of every matching order across all pages.
  3. When combining page exports, compare order references and remove only established duplicate rows. Preserve the original files.
  4. For a broader period, review the Sales Order Detail Report and its selection rules. Do not infer a failed or unpaid sale from a missing CSV row; inspect the underlying order and payment evidence.
