Run voucher and refund reports
Use the voucher report for voucher records and redemption-state questions. Use Refunds, Returns & Exchanges for the related transaction activity. Check the underlying records before treating a report figure as a balance to change.
Voucher reporting
- Open Reports → Gift Voucher / Refund Credit Voucher Report.
- Set the intended Date range.
- Choose Voucher type: All voucher types, Gift vouchers / sold or manual, or Refund credit vouchers.
- Choose Redemption status: All statuses, Unredeemed, Part-redeemed or Fully redeemed.
- Select Run report and review the output’s date and value definitions.
Refunds, returns and exchanges
Open the corresponding report from Reports, check the selected report type, set Date range and run it. Compare its entries with the original order and the related return, exchange or payment record.
Example: distinguish two voucher types
A purchased gift voucher and credit issued following a return have different origins. Choose the intended voucher type before reviewing a period and redemption state. Record the code and originating order when investigating one item.
If a total is unexpected
Check voucher type, redemption state, dates and whether the report describes creation, use or a balance at a particular point. Look up a sample record before assuming the filter refers to the event date you had in mind.

Keep voucher scope explicit
For Gift Voucher / Refund Credit Voucher Report, review Date range, Voucher type and Redemption status before Run report. A voucher issued, a voucher used and an order refund are distinct records. Compare the actual voucher or order reference when investigating a balance, and check separate payment evidence for a money refund.
