Customise your till screen
Choose the part of the till you want to improve, then follow the relevant guide. Product views are selected on the till itself. Quick Bar shortcuts and operator settings are managed in Builder.

Find the Builder setup page
- Open Global Settings → ePOS/Till Setup.
- On POS Settings, use the section navigation to find the controls for your task. Choose Quick bar for shortcut rows.
- For product browsing, look for Default sort order of products and Search items in selected category. Review the current choices before planning a different browsing order or search scope.
Example: make a common item easier to reach
If staff repeatedly search for a carry bag, a Quick Bar shortcut titled Bag may be useful. Check the selected product as well as the title, and review Enable Quick Bar in ePOS? and the separate Numeric Keypad/input choice. Follow the Quick Bar guide above for the detailed steps.
Check the change with your staff
- Choose one task to improve: finding a product, reaching a frequent item or browsing categories.
- Use a familiar example to compare the current setup with the intended change.
- Follow the relevant task guide, then check the result on the device and till your staff use.
The separate customer display has its own guide above. Changing the operator’s product layout or full-screen mode is a different task.

If the expected change is missing
- Confirm the shop, till point and signed-in operator on the device being checked.
- Identify the setting that owns the change: Tree/Block/Image is a till view choice, while Quick Bar mappings and other setup controls are reviewed in Builder.
- For a shortcut, check the selected product as well as its visible title. For a product-search problem, check the selected category and search scope before changing the layout.
- Follow the relevant detailed guide above and compare the result on the actual staff device. Record the setting and displayed result for support if they differ.
Before closing or refreshing an active till during investigation, check its basket and locally saved work. Do not change unrelated setup choices to compensate for an unexplained difference.
