How can we help?

Review WebShop stock and availability settings

A product’s visibility, purchase availability and stock source are separate choices. Check all relevant settings when the website and till show different availability.

Review the WebShop choices

  1. Open Global Settings → General and the online-shop settings section.
  2. Review Purchase out of stock items?.
  3. Review Hide out of stock items.
  4. Review Show out of stock items if option search is set separately from the general visibility choice.
  5. If the multi-outlet controls are available, review Website stock: Independent, Allow take stock from any outlets or Linked to the outlet.
  6. For a linked-outlet setup, check the actual outlet selection.

Before saving

Record the current choices and the intended result for a representative product and variant. Changing the source setting is different from transferring or correcting stock. Avoid changing both during the same investigation unless that is intended.

Save and check

For an intended configuration update, use Save Settings, reopen the settings and check the actual shop listing, filtered search, product/variant availability and basket. Include the relevant outlet holdings in the test. Do not assume a product hidden from a listing is also blocked through every direct link.

Example: stock exists in one outlet

Compare the selected Website stock mode with where the holding actually exists. If a particular outlet is linked, stock elsewhere and a displayed aggregate may describe different scopes. Check the real checkout allocation and current stock source before promising availability.

If the result differs

Keep the product/variant, stock mode/outlet, visibility/purchase choices and the exact listing/search/direct-page result for support. Review zero and negative holdings and any product-specific controls before changing the catalogue.

Shipping availability · Find General settings.

Visible but not purchasable

Check the product’s own Live, in-store-only and channel-availability choices as well as the shared stock settings. A listing result and a purchase decision are different checks. Compare the same product, variant and location.

Product availability · Variant stock.

Check the linked outlet after changing modes

For Linked to the outlet, select the intended location and check it after saving. If you switch to another mode and later return, select and verify the outlet again rather than assuming its old choice was retained. Changing this setting does not transfer stock between locations.
