Remove a webshop content page
Review an information page’s purpose and links before deleting it. A menu change, an inactive page and a deleted page are different outcomes.
Review what must be retained
- Open WebShop → Content Pages and choose the intended Storefront.
- Compare the page title, address and content, especially where names repeat.
- Keep a copy of useful text, metadata, template choice and extra content.
- Identify menus and external links using the address. Choose an appropriate replacement or decide how visitors should be directed before removal.
If you only want to stop showing a link
Review the relevant menu item. Removing its link does not itself hide the page from direct access. If considering Active? on the page, save deliberately and check the actual direct page and navigation before relying on that setting.
Delete the intended page
- Find the exact page and select Delete content page.
- Read Delete page?. Cancel if you have not retained the content or checked its links.
- Confirm Delete page only for the intended removal.
- Wait for the refreshed list, then check the page and related menus.
- Review other saved links and the intended replacement journey.
Deletion can also remove menu entries that reference that page. Check affected storefront menus rather than assuming only the page list changed.
Undo and uncertain results
The page list has Undo delete when a qualifying action is available. Read its current description and confirm it refers to the page you intend to restore before using it. Do not assume it restores every menu entry, URL relationship or later edit. Reopen and check the page and links after any recovery.
If deletion is interrupted, inspect the list before repeating it. Keep the page address, storefront, title, time and message for support. A replacement page with a similar title does not automatically repair old links.
