Edit a WebShop page’s metadata
The SEO tab contains metadata for an individual content page. Review it alongside the visible page title and body so all three describe the same subject.
Edit the metadata
- Open WebShop → Content Pages and select the intended storefront.
- Open the relevant page with Edit.
- Choose SEO.
- Review Meta Title and Meta Description. Use clear wording that identifies the page and accurately summarises what visitors will find.
- Review Meta Keywords if it is part of your existing content process.
- Select Save changes & close, then reopen the page to check the stored fields.
Example: a useful contact-page description
A Contact Us page can describe how customers can reach your business and where it is based. Keep the description consistent with the actual contact options shown on the page rather than promising a response service you do not offer.
Metadata versus the page address
Page URL is on General. Editing metadata is a separate task from changing the address. A menu item also has its own title and destination, so check the menu if the visible navigation label is what you intended to change.

The Meta Keywords field is not used by Google Search for indexing or ranking. See Google’s supported meta tags and the search-content checklist.
Review Extra content separately
The Extra tab contains Extra Content 1–5 for template-specific content. Reopen the saved values and inspect the part of the actual page that uses them. They are separate from the title and description on SEO. Switching between these tabs does not save the form.
If the expected wording has not changed
- Check the storefront and exact page record, then reopen SEO to compare the saved fields.
- For the page’s visible heading or body, review General and the content editor. For a navigation label, review the menu item. For template-specific wording, review the appropriate Extra content and the actual page.
- Check which text you intended to change before making another edit. Switching tabs alone does not save the record.
- Keep the page address, field name, saved wording and displayed result with a support query. Avoid changing Page URL as a workaround for a wording problem.
