How can we help?

Review connected shop domains

Shop domains lists connected customer-facing addresses and their default state. Review the connected address before changing the separate Domain name field.

Inspect the connected addresses

  1. Open WebShop → Domains, also available under Global Settings.
  2. Review the Domain directory and its Default label.
  3. Check the address in Domain name.
  4. Review sub-domain support, SSL and HTTPS settings as separate parts of the setup.

Plan a new address

The current page instructs you to use Add a domain before entering a custom domain in Domain name. It also says not to include http:// or www. in that field. Follow the checked domain-connection process rather than changing the address before its domain setup exists.

Example: the directory and field disagree

Record which address is listed as default and what appears in Domain name. Check the intended storefront and domain setup before using Make default or saving a different address.

If the storefront becomes unreachable

Keep the previous working address and the exact change with your support query. The page contains recovery guidance for its custom-domain field, but DNS, certificate and primary-address changes need to be checked together. Do not change HTTPS settings simply to work around a loading problem.

Read the configuration before changing it

ControlWhat to review
Default / Make defaultThe directory's marked address and the address you intend customers to use. Review the separate default-domain task before changing it.
DeleteThe exact address and services that depend on it. Removing an address is a separate action from selecting a default.
Domain nameThe configured address, compared with the directory and your domain plan.
Enable sub-domain support (don't add WWW)The separate No/Yes choice; confirm the intended subdomains with support.
Use your own SSL?The certificate arrangement agreed for this domain.
Use HTTPS?The secure-access setting, alongside an actual HTTPS check of each agreed address.
Save SettingsReview all intended configuration changes before saving. Opening Add a domain is a separate step.

Ask for help with an existing domain

  1. Record the domain you already own and the current working ShopTill-e shop address.
  2. Note who manages the domain and whether its DNS also provides email or other services. Keep those existing services in your plan.
  3. Describe the intended customer-facing address and any current loading or certificate error. Include the current default address and Domain name value if they disagree.
  4. Use Contact support to request help checking the connection plan before changing domain, DNS or HTTPS settings. The published support email is support@shoptill-e.com.
  5. Keep the enquiry reference and agreed next steps. Do not send registrar passwords, API keys or unrelated customer details in the enquiry.

For example, if your domain already hosts business email, say so when requesting help with the WebShop address. Ask which records need review before making changes; do not replace the existing DNS configuration from an old screenshot.

Related tasks

Connect a domain you already own

Follow the existing-domain guide. Keep the current working shop address and arrange the domain, DNS and HTTPS connection before changing the address customers use.

Register a new domain

Follow the domain-registration guide. Review the exact name, owner details, current price and renewal arrangements before confirming a purchase; registration and a working secure storefront are separate checks.
