How can we help?

Find and review an outlet stock transfer

Use Outlet stock transfers to find the record for stock moving between branches. Check the direction as well as the items: Outlet out is the source and Outlet In is the destination.

Find the transfer

  1. Open Catalogue & Stock → Outlet Stock Transfer.
  2. Choose the appropriate Status: All statuses, Open, Processed or Canceled.
  3. Use date sorting, result count and Filter by date and time range to narrow the list.
  4. Check the transfer number and its From and To locations.
  5. Use View to review the record, or Edit only when you intend to make changes to an editable transfer.

Review an editable transfer

The editor shows the order number, date/time, Notes, source and destination outlets. Each line shows Item, SKU, In Stock and Qty. Check the option description when variants share a base SKU.

For example, two lines may have the same base SKU but represent Small/Green and Small/Red. Count and review those options separately rather than assuming either line can stand for the other.

Change only the intended lines

The editor offers Transfer quantity entries, Find products, Remove and Delete selected. Review the selected rows before removing anything. Use Cancel if you only needed to review the details, or Save changes for an intended edit, then reopen the record to check it.

Check the movement outcome separately

Saving an edited document and processing a stock movement are different checks. Before repeating or correcting a transfer, confirm its current status and the stock recorded at both outlets. Keep a note of the transfer number and physical movement so support can investigate a discrepancy.

If something does not match

Record the source and destination, variant, quantity, transfer status and the stock figures you compared. Check that you are reviewing the intended branch and item option before treating a difference as missing stock.

More detailed tasks

Rows versus the transfer record

Remove product and Delete selected in an editable document concern its product rows. Review the remaining quantities before Save changes. Deleting a transfer from the directory is a separate action on the document.

A processed transfer cannot be deleted through that action. If goods must move back, plan the return movement with the correct direction and quantities, then check the actual holdings; do not use document deletion as a stock reversal.

If the status filter and rows disagree

  1. Read the status on the actual transfer row, then open the intended reference with View and check its saved Status.
  2. Choose All statuses when you need to find the reference without relying on the narrower choice.
  3. Keep the selected filter, transfer number and actual row status with your support request if they still disagree.

Choosing Processed in the list filter is separate from processing a transfer. Base any next action on the intended saved record and its contents.
