How can we help?

Choose the card terminal for a till

Confirm the till’s identity and intended physical card machine before changing its selection. The terminal list depends on the shop’s configured devices and outlet setup.

Review the selection

  1. Open the intended till and check its till-point name.
  2. Expand the till information header if its terminal area is collapsed.
  3. Find the Terminal area and read the current terminal name or configuration message.
  4. Open the terminal selector and compare the offered names with the intended machine and outlet.
  5. Select the intended configured terminal only when you mean to change the assignment. Selecting a value saves the assignment; there is no separate confirmation/save step for it.
  6. Reopen the till or selector and check the actual selection before an approved payment test.

Example: move between counters

A device used at another counter may still refer to a different till or terminal. Check both identities and the intended outlet before taking payment. Do not choose the first available name just to clear a warning.

If the intended terminal is absent

Check the configured device and outlet in ePOS Payments with support. No terminal configured or Select a configured terminal needs investigation before a card request. Refreshing devices and changing the till’s assignment are separate actions.

Keep reporting separate

EOD Report is a terminal reporting action, separate from till X/Z reports and selecting a device. Do not run reports merely to test whether the selector works.

Terminal setup · Till identity and outlet · Payment review.
