How can we help?

Select an available product-page template

An account with suitable product-page templates can offer a Template selector in the product editor. This selects an existing product-page design; editing or creating template files is a separate task.

Before changing a product page

Record the product’s current template and the storefront where you will check it. Confirm that the proposed template is intended for this product and supports its content, images and options.

Choose an available template

  1. Find the product in Product Management and choose Edit.
  2. Open Advanced and look for Template.
  3. If the selector is present, review Default and the available named choices.
  4. Select the intended existing template and use Save changes & close.
  5. Reopen the product to check the saved choice, then review the actual product page in the intended storefront.

If Template is missing

The choice depends on the templates available to the account’s current design. Record the active theme and ask support which product templates are available before assuming that a missing selector is an error.

Check the whole product presentation

Review its description, images, variant selection, price, availability and add-to-basket area. A different page layout can present these differently. Preview the design and arrange a controlled test of the relevant customer journey before changing an established customer-facing design.

If the result is unsuitable

Compare the saved choice, the active storefront design and the product URL you opened. Use the recorded previous choice when planning an intended reversal, then review the page again.
