Review marketplace catalogue exports
Builder offers separate operations for the store connection and catalogue data. Agree the intended scope with support before sending a catalogue to an external account.
Prepare the catalogue
- Confirm the shop, connected ChannelUnity account and intended marketplaces.
- Check stable product/SKU identifiers and how existing listings will be linked.
- Review categories, required attributes, actual product values and variant handling.
- Record the intended price, stock and location sources and check external publication settings.
Review the operation
Under Global Settings → Market Integration → Connection and exports, Export categories, Export products and Export Attributes send different catalogue information. They are external transfer actions, not local file downloads. Use only the agreed action and read its result.
Check after an intended export
- Keep the action, time and reported result, including any part/progress messages.
- Inspect the intended receiving account and representative records.
- Compare identifiers, category, attributes, price and stock with the source shop.
- Confirm field/category mapping and channel diagnostics before an intended publication.
- Keep listing publication and marketplace order/stock synchronisation as separate checks.
Example: a product was sent but is not listed
Check the received catalogue record, mapping and publication state for that product. A completed export does not prove that a marketplace accepted or displayed a listing.
If the outcome is unclear
Check what arrived before repeating the full catalogue export. Keep the exact action and affected SKU for support. Do not change product identifiers simply to make an uncertain transfer appear new.
