Manage domains excluded from email sync
Exclusions help keep unwanted address domains out of customer-list synchronisation. Review both the shop list and the separate global list before changing a rule.
Review or add a shop exclusion
- Open eMail Marketing and choose Exclude email domains.
- Review the existing shop entries and Global list.
- For an intended addition, enter the domain part to exclude, such as blocked.example.test, rather than a website URL.
- Select Add domain and check that the intended entry appears.
- Review representative inclusion/exclusion results before running a broad sync.
Remove an existing shop rule
Use Delete beside the intended shop entry and read its confirmation. Check the rule disappears after the change. The global list is displayed separately; a missing shop Delete control is not permission to alter global exclusions.
Understand the effect
Adding an exclusion affects future synchronisation additions; it does not remove or unsubscribe addresses already in the email service. Review the existing list separately if its membership needs to change.
Example: marketplace relay addresses
Identify the actual relay domain from the source addresses and review the intended matching scope with support. Do not use a broad pattern simply because several addresses look similar. Wildcards, subdomains and exact matching need verified examples before use.
