Generate or improve product metadata with AI
The product’s SEO fields are separate from the visible product name and description. Check the description before using it to generate metadata.
Prepare the source
- Open the intended product and review its current description.
- Correct factual errors before generating metadata from it.
- Open SEO and keep a copy of any useful existing Meta Title, Meta Description and Meta Keywords.
Generate all or improve one
Generate all Meta Fields with AI uses the product description as its input and can replace all three meta fields. An Improve with AI control beside an individual meta field uses that field’s existing text instead. Choose the control matching your intended scope.
Review Formality and Tone in the options, then use Go for the intended request. Review every returned field before saving; do not assume a useful description guarantees a suitable title or keywords.
Check the wording
- Does the title identify this product clearly?
- Does the description accurately summarise the actual product and page?
- Have any invented claims, unavailable variants or outdated offers appeared?
- Are the fields consistent with the visible product text?
Example: revise one description
If only the meta description needs updating, use the relevant single-field action or edit it directly. Generating all fields can replace a title you intended to keep.
Save and verify
Use the product’s intended save action once all changes are ready. Reopen the record to check the stored fields and inspect the actual page metadata where required. Generation and saving do not establish when or how a search service will display the wording, and do not guarantee a ranking change.
If only some fields appear
Compare each field with its previous value and keep the exact error for support. Inspect the actual result before repeating the whole operation; a completed dialog alone is not proof that all three values were returned or saved.
