Decide whether to hide or delete a product
Before removing a product, decide whether you need to change its live status or delete its catalogue record. Review connected marketplace listings and any information you need to keep before proceeding.
Choose the intended outcome
- Make Not Live: change the selected records’ live status while keeping the catalogue records available for review. Check the affected webshop, till and connected channels afterwards; a visibility change can affect marketplace listings too.
- Delete: remove the selected catalogue records and associated information. The confirmation warns about dependent records. Use this only when deletion is the intended outcome.
For a seasonal range you may want to sell again, review Make Not Live first. For an accidental duplicate, confirm which SKU and record are actually in use before deleting either record. Neither choice should be used as a substitute for checking connected channels.
Change several products to not live
- Open Catalogue & Stock → Product Management and find the intended products.
- Select the rows and check the count. Use a small batch where similar records could be confused.
- Choose Make Not Live under With selected.
- Check the selection, then select Apply. This submits the change.
- Include not-live products in your filters to find the records again. Check their saved status and the affected selling channels.
Delete selected products
- Identify the records by title and SKU, and keep any product details, images or associations you need before deleting them.
- Select only the intended rows. Check the count carefully; Select this page can include every displayed product.
- Choose Delete under With selected, then Apply.
- Read the confirmation. It warns that selected products and dependent records are deleted, and that Undo delete restores only the most recently deleted product.
- Cancel if the selection or intended outcome is uncertain. Confirm only when you intend to delete that selection.
- Read the result and check the catalogue and any connected listings. If a partial result appears, establish which products remain before taking another action.
If a deletion was a mistake
Review Undo delete promptly and check which product it identifies before using it. Do not assume it restores a whole bulk deletion. After any restoration, check the product, variants, images, categories and other associations, together with external listings. Do not assume that every dependency or marketplace effect has been reversed.
If the expected product is not offered for restoration, or the restored record is incomplete, contact support with the affected SKUs, approximate time and the actions taken. Avoid further deletion or repeated recovery attempts until the current state is understood.
