How can we help?

Upload or replace a resource or template file

File Manager supports storefront resources and custom-template files. Uploading a file with an existing name can replace that file, so check the exact destination and keep the original first.

Prepare the file

  1. Open Global Settings → File Manager.
  2. Find the intended folder, such as Resources, Template Images, Templates or Email Templates.
  3. Check which page or template uses the file. Custom-template files may require the template’s Customise setup before they are available here.
  4. If replacing a file, use Download to retain the current original and record its folder and exact filename.
  5. Prepare the intended replacement and check its name and file type.

Upload to the selected folder

  1. In the destination folder’s upload controls, choose the intended file or files.
  2. Review the selected filenames and destination. A matching existing filename is a replacement, not a separate version.
  3. Choose Upload selected files only when the selection is ready.
  4. Read every success or error message and check each intended file in the listing. Do not assume a multi-file upload succeeded in full.
  5. Open the relevant page or template and check the actual result. For a message template, arrange a controlled test before relying on customer delivery.

Create a folder where needed

Use the intended parent folder’s name field and Create folder control, then check where the new folder appears. Creating a folder does not update a page’s image or file links automatically; check the actual references.

Example: replace a template image

Download the current image first, note its exact location and prepare the new image. After uploading, check the page that uses it and its appearance at relevant screen sizes. If the old image still appears, keep the exact page and file addresses for support.

If an upload fails or looks wrong

Record the filename, folder, file type and exact error. Check which files actually changed before retrying. Ask support to confirm supported file types or any replacement needed to restore the original. Do not assume there is an automatic Undo action.

Find and download files · Investigate an old page or image.
