How can we help?

Edit the top-strip messages in Heathers

This guide describes the Heathers theme controls. Open WebShop → Choose your Theme, identify the intended storefront’s Current theme and select Edit settings. Other themes can offer different fields.

The KSP Strip tab describes a strip at the top of the website. It contains three message fields with separate background and font-colour controls.

Update a message

  1. Choose KSP Strip.
  2. Find Message 1, Message 2 or Message 3.
  3. Write a short, accurate message.
  4. Review that message’s Background Colour and Font Colour. Use its reset controls only if you intend to return those values to defaults.
  5. Save the intended changes and check the top strip on the correct storefront.

Example: communicate a collection option

A short message can highlight an available collection service. Keep the wording consistent with the actual delivery or collection choices; update the message when an offer or service changes.

Review all messages together

Check readability, repeated wording and the way the messages appear on a phone. Keep any time-limited claim with a reminder in your content process so it does not remain after the offer ends.

For an intended update, use Save changes, reopen the settings and check the relevant storefront on desktop and mobile. Use Cancel when you only need to review the settings.

Save the message and its colours together

Each of Message 1–3 has its own Background Colour and Font Colour. Check the same number throughout the edit and review all messages before saving. Reset changes a field in the form; save only when that default is the intended result.

One save across the theme tabs

Homepage, Headings, Settings, SEO, Styles, Social Networks, KSP Strip and the banner tabs belong to the same settings form. Switching tabs does not save. Review changes across all tabs before Save changes, then reopen the correct theme and inspect its storefront. Cancel or Close leaves without another settings save; it does not reverse an earlier save or independent image-library action.

If a strip message is unreadable or out of date

  1. Identify the affected Message number and compare its saved text, Background Colour and Font Colour together.
  2. Check all three messages so an old offer or repeated statement is not left in another field.
  3. Compare the message with the actual service or offer. Change the relevant service configuration separately when needed; editing a strip message does not establish a delivery option.
  4. Inspect readability on the intended storefront at phone and desktop widths. Keep the message number and affected colours for support if the stored fields and display differ.

Use the active-theme checks before editing a different theme or website to solve a display problem.
