Printing Receipts - iPad / iOS & Android

Printing Receipts when using an iPad or Android Tablet requires a compatible printer.

Star Micronics offer iOS & Android compatible receipt printers with Star WebPRNT has been specifically designed for web based POS systems

Star WebPRNT eliminates the need to install drivers or download software. WebPRNT enables printing from any local device hosting a web-based Star’s WebPRNT enabled thermal receipt printers.

You can print directly from Safari or Chrome (and run as a full screen Web App ) and take advantage of the ShopTill-e POS's offline mode when using a Star WebPRNT enabled printer (WebPRNT is installed/enabled within the printer itself) these printers have an Ethernet and/or WiFi interface they are Network/LAN printers i.e. NOT Bluetooth. e.g.:

Star's Bluetooth WebPRNT printer range will only print receipts when using the Star WebPRNT Browser App. The App has is a Web Browser and is used instead of Safari, Chrome or Firefox. The app will run in full screen mode and is used to both view/use the ShopTill-e POS and to print receipts from it. It is important to note that the Star WebPRNT app doesn't currently support the ShopTill-e ePOS offline mode.

When using a Star WebPRNT Bluetooth receipt printer you need to use the Star WebPRNT Browser App:
